Bristol West Labour Party join in Solidarity with Bristol MDC

Meeting with MDC

Paul Smith Labour candidate spoke at the Bristol Branch of the Movement for Democratic Change on 8th November 2008 in St Pauls. The MDC and the Labour Party are sister parties both with strong trade union roots and a belief in democracy and social change.

Paul said, "We came to show our solidarity for the MDC's struggle for freedom in Zimbabwe and for justice for refugees and asylum speakers staying in Britain. This is the first of many meetings between our sister parties in Bristol".
