Lib Dems mislead over Redland Green School
In the latest Lib Dem leaflet they seek to claim the credit for the Redland Green School, despite their long standing opposition to the original proposal.
They fairly claim that they have 'campaigned for a new school in north Bristol', however they forget to mention that they campaigned for it to be in Stoke Bishop. Labour councillors and
Valerie Davey the Labour MP fought hard for the Redland Green site and pushed the then Education Minister, David Milliband to agree the funding.
Paul Smith said, "The Lib Dems have selective memories and seem to forget that it was a Labour Council working with a Labour Government in partnership with a Labour MP that delivered the new
school."
