Race Through Generations

The Black Development Agency (BDA) hosted an exciting AGM with passionate speakers from Equanomics UK (and council leader Helen Holland). The BDA empowers Black and Minority ethnic communities by building up their skills, ability and capacity to enable a sustainable Black Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector. The BDA has also been commissioned to run the race equality and human rights service for Bristol and South Gloucestershire following the demise of the Bristol Racial Equality Council.

Paul Smith said, "The BDA is an inspiring organisation working in the heart of our city and strengthening communities.  The AGM was an informative and enjoyable evening and I hope to work with the BDA in the future."
